Make Our Schools Safe (MOSS), a national nonprofit dedicated to empowering students and educators to create and maintain a culture of school safety, is proud to announce a new Annual Partnership with GeoComm.
GeoComm provides location-based solutions and mapping technology that support public safety and emergency response. Their work helps ensure that first responders and emergency personnel have access to accurate, real-time location data to improve coordination and response in critical situations.
Through this partnership, GeoComm is supporting Make Our Schools Safe’s ongoing efforts to strengthen school safety initiatives nationwide. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to improving preparedness, response, and awareness in schools and communities.
Make Our Schools Safe was founded by Lori and Ilan Alhadeff following the tragic loss of their daughter Alyssa in the 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Since its founding, the organization has worked to advocate for Alyssa’s Law, expand student-led MOSS Clubs, and invest in programs that help schools build safer environments for students and staff.
“We are grateful for GeoComm’s partnership and their commitment to this mission,” said Lori Alhadeff, Co-founder and President of Make Our Schools Safe. “Working with organizations that share our focus on improving safety and emergency response helps us continue to expand our impact and protect students across the country.”
GeoComm’s support will help advance Make Our Schools Safe’s national initiatives, including legislative advocacy, student leadership programs, and community awareness efforts focused on school safety.
Together, Make Our Schools Safe and GeoComm aim to strengthen school safety efforts and
support initiatives that help protect students and educators nationwide.
